I cannot run the prugramme.I get the following message when running the programme after download:

It crashes on exit causing it to corrupt the bookmarks file or at least misread it. The favicons are overly darkened. The proxy does not seem to work properly for some reason.
Getting the same error as revathykumar when trying to run it.

Same error here. Using XP SP3 with .NET 3.5 installed.
Sorry guys. This build with VC8 has some serious bugs on some system. I 'll try to fix and update the file soon. (It works fine on one of my laptops though...)
Someone said to remove the manifest file and all is well
Deleted the manifest file but instead of getting the R6034 error message I'm now getting a message that says:
'This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem'.
It may be a corruption or missing file in the 0.091 .7z file. It seems to unzip very slowly for such a small installation. I am using 7Zip.
Deleting the manifest worked for me.
Great browser, only just heard of it and I really like it. Love the way you use LUA, even a crap coder like me can have fun changing things.

Tranaparency in the skin is shown as black background (see favicons in addressbar and on Tabs and animated K-Meleon logo top right.
Download does not work at present. Can be to you it is necessary to use Google Code? Imho, it's fast and simple in use.

Just an update.
Deleting manifest works fine but for some odd reason it refuses to remember any of the names of the folders that I created in bookmarks html file. It simply refuses to save the names. And it will only see this file. Gives "null" for all.
Anybody else?
Just wanted to say even with this errata it is the best browser known to man!
That apparently worked:
Replacing the bookmarks.dll from the 152 installer (kplugins) with this one which is larger...???

setdefault was a great idea. got from installer duhh
